raspberry pi on home network. runninig mynode on laptop. trying to update community edition. open mynode, click linux terminal. I follow instructions. Everything ok until last required step - sudo mynode-local-upgrade [pc ip address]. I go to whatsmyipaddress to make sure i have the right ipaddress and put that in the sudo statement. It says "invalid ipv6 numeric address. But whatsmyipaddress says I do not have an ipv6 address. Help?

Hello. Just type ip addr in your terminal and find ipv4 address give in the output. Use that address in the upgrade command and you should be fine.

that doesn't seem to work.

Here is what shows on my router

# Status IP Address MAC Address Device Name

2 Allowed 192.168.1.6 9C:EB:E8:06:F2:4E UX31A
3 Allowed 192.168.1.8 88:DE:A9:18:A1:50 RokuUltra-506

here is what happens when I sudo on 192,168.1.2

Did you try to run just

Code: Select all

sudo mynode-local-upgrade 192.168.1.2
